Due to our continued success and growth, we are now looking for a Business Manager to join our busy and dynamic team based in Dinnington, Sheffield. As EDExams Business Manager you will be responsible for the sales, customer service, marketing, social media and development of EDExams Limited.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive and well organised, have excellent communication, planning and interpersonal skills and have a determined approach to delivering objectives. Previous Business Manager Experience is not essential, but you must have an good understanding of the education system, examination awarding bodies and feel confident that you are ready to take the next step to managing a rapidly growing business.
You will need to possess an ability to communicate at all levels and be able to build outstanding relationships with our customers and other team members.
Both exciting and challenging, this position is for an exceptional, highly motivated Business Manager.
As Business Manager you will:
•Develop and grow new business from quality leads
•Be responsible for proactive promoting of the business
•Have a clear understanding of exams processes
•Be up to date with changes in assessment
•Upload exams and content on to the platform
•Create content for blogs
•Manage social media accounts for EDExams Limited
•Develop the business and have the capability to keep up to date with the curriculum
•Promote and market the services provided by the business to its customer base in the most appropriate and beneficial manner
•Be responsible for customer satisfaction
•Be responsible for customer retention (e.g. new sales to existing customers),
•Team working across the group
•Be capable of liaising with all customers, the team and management
•Have an understanding of security, data protection, etc - for exam purposes
To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:
•Have the drive and ambition to move the business forward
•Have a high level of education, including GCSE maths and English
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in schools or sales
•Demonstrative knowledge of exam boards and exam procedures
•An understanding/experience of UK curriculum
•An excellent level of spoken and written English
•Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to professionals of all levels
•Professional and articulate
•Confident and enthusiastic
•Enhanced DBS check required
•Knowledge of tender processes
•First aid qualifications
•Knowledge of social media and marketing
•Knowledge of Quartz
•Knowledge of Sage 50
•Have to ability to multi task
•Someone who has the ability to think on their feet
•Working using their own initiative
Hours – Monday to Friday – potential to be flexible for the right candidate.
